The TTArtisan 40mm f/2 is the more “character” pick in this matchup: compact, full metal, and it gives me a clickable aperture ring. I also liked its warmer skin tone rendering, and in my low-light AF checks it felt a hair better—plus you’ve got f/2 when you need the extra light.

- -Slightly more distortion than the Viltrox
