Sigma 16mm F/1.4 - Amazon - Z Mount
The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 is the classic wide APS-C option, but in my testing it shows its age. You’re paying more (especially on Z-mount) and I still see major distortion and chromatic aberration until about f/4, so you really need to decide if weather resistance and warranty are worth it for you.

- +Weather-resistant construction
- +Good sharpness in the center wide open (f/1.4)
- +Vignetting control was slightly better in my test
Cons
- -Major distortion at 16mm; auto correction can cost you image area
- -Noticeable chromatic aberration at f/1.4 to f/2.8
- -Feels like older 2017-era lens design for the price
