Nikon ZF - Amazon

The Nikon ZF surprised me—I went in thinking it was a cosmetic Z6II, but after my tests it’s totally different where it counts. You’re getting better autofocus (especially in bad light), better dynamic range, and 10-bit internal video with SDR/HLG/N-Log.

Pros

+Much better AF and eye tracking, especially in low light
+Better dynamic range in my pull tests (mechanical and electronic shutter)
+10-bit internal video with SDR, HLG, and N-Log
+Strong initial burst buffering with no stop-gap
+Feels sturdier and has an articulating screen

Cons

-Costs about $400 more than the Z6II
-Tripod plate placement can block battery door with some Manfrotto plates
-Uses micro HDMI
-Second card slot is microSD (not for everyone)
