The Nikon 20mm f/1.8 S is the pro option here: better distortion control, better vignetting control, and noticeably sharper corners in my sharpness tests. It’s heavier and way more expensive, but it’s the kind of 20mm I’d point to for weddings, events, and paid work where consistency matters.
