My Nikon 14-30mm F4 is the sharp, practical wide-angle zoom, and at 15mm it consistently beat the Laowa for sharpness in my shots. You get autofocus and weather resistance, but the look is more “plain Jane” compared to the Laowa’s character. The surprise downside I found here was major focus breathing when you’re close to a subject.
