This is mostly footage from running the splitter and my thoughts on it. I don't own this splitter as it was lent to me. Enable cc/subtitles to read my commentary throughout the video. Pros: - The bi-directional wedge is really nice to have as it increases the number of splits you can do and uses less fuel to move to a "ready" position. - Has no problems with softwood like the douglas fir in this video. - Seems fairly fuel efficient. I used less than two gallons of unleaded 87 fuel for the 4 hours I ran it. Cons: - The wedge stops about three inches away from the walls. Other reviewers have pointed out this design flaw and I pointed out a couple examples of this in the video.
