In this one I’m cracking on with the #VSSPGA26 “Very Small Seed Potato Grow Along” and it’s time for me to get those baby potatoes started. I’m all about doing things on a budget, so I’m keeping it simple and practical—getting the seed potatoes going at the right time so they’ve got the best chance of putting on strong growth before they go out. This is the kind of job that doesn’t look much, but it makes a big difference later on when you’re chasing a decent crop. Because I’m always on the go, I like a setup that’s easy to manage and doesn’t cost the earth—using what I’ve already got where possible and only buying in when it’s worth it.
