Short morning walk around the quiet coastal town of Neskowin, Oregon during a rare day of heavy snowfall and winter weather. There were a few locals in town and several were out to see the wonder. Snowfall this heavy on the coast is incredibly rare and most people I encountered shared my disbelief in the scenery around us. My favorite encounter was an elderly woman who said she hadn’t seen this kind of weather here since she was a little girl. I walked around the 101 highway, all sides of the beach and over to the infamous Ghost Forest that the area is known for. The snowfall was minimal when I started and then got really heavy before I eventually got too cold! This was February 23rd, 2023 between 8-10am. A mix of video clips and some of my photography shot on my #leicam11 Hope you enjoy this video and my capture of this remarkable occurrence. It’s something I’ll never forget. #neskowin #oregoncoast #snowonthebeach #ghostforest #pacificnorthwest
