Spent a long weekend on the road in Los Angeles and brought along the Leica Minilux Zoom for a test run in a variety of situations. I chat about initial findings in using this camera and a few small details about how I used it. Along with my commentary I included a large collection of sample photos from my first five rolls of 35mm film. You'll see images from walking around Hollywood, the Jimmy Buffett Tribute show at the Hollywood Bowl, a Bachelorette Party, a non-traditional concert style wedding and a more traditional wedding in black and white. This was an experiment. For the wedding work in this video I was primarily capturing the day on my normal Leica M11 & canon cameras, bringing out this camera for a few supplemental moments. I like this camera, it's really fun to use and great to handle. It loads film super fast and the AF seems to adapt to various light situations quickly. The flash takes time to reload and I need to hold much more still to take photos with the Leica Minilux zoom. I'm anxious to get better acquainted with this camera and hope you enjoy these first findings and discoveries!
