I'll list the old components at the bottom. Let's talk about what I'm putting in here. I decided to keep it somewhat sensible because this case doesn't have a ton of airflow. So, I'll be re-using the 4060 Ti I got on Temu during their fire sale: Temu $100 Coupon Bundle: download Temu App, search code: ใdut4444ใin search-bar, or clicking ๐ย https://app.temu.com/k/u7u3nnowykz Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Ti: https://temu.to/k/ufgay1q2hfh Acasis 21 in 1 Thunderbolt/USB4 Hub: https://www.amazon.com/ACASIS-Thunderbolt-Dock-Monitor%EF%BC%8C8K60Hz-Ethernet/dp/B0D3TKMHMW?tag=tekksynd-20&th=1 The rest of the links can be found on teksyndicate.com here: https://teksyndicate.com/sleeper-build-ibm-aptiva-ryzen-9-build-log/ For the motherboard, I'm going for the Minisforum BD790i again because it's a beast. The Ryzen 9 7940HX is faster than my 5950X. It's also 16C/32T and it stays cool enough to work just fine in this system. It can also turbo up to 5.2. So, it's snappy. I need more USB, so I picked up an ACASIS Thunderbolt 4 Dock (21-1). It works fine with USB4, so we are good to go. I put that on my desk and I use it for basically everything. It's vital. For the M.2, we have a Teamgroup PCIe 5 2TV T-Force GE Pro. It's MB/s looks like iops. It's insanity. I wanted a second M.2, so we have the Sabrent Rocket at 4TB. It's an extremely good price for 4TB. The memory is also from Teamgroup. I picked up the Elite DDR5 Laptop Memory... 64GB at 5600MHz. It has been rock solid. The PSU was a bit of a challenge... so watch the video for that rant. I ended up getting a Corsair SFX-L 1000W PSU. The cooling is handled by a Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan... it's basically silent. Then I have an extra Alphacool fan in the front to exhaust air. Lastly, I used some internal USB header splitters... because I need MORE USB! Check out the video for all the info.
