The amount of speed you can get out of a "laptop" part with a little extra juice is insanity. This 7945HX is substantially faster than my primary desktop (still running a 5950X). They are almost as fast as the desktop 7950X and 7950X3D CPUs, yet those CPUs cost hundreds more than this entire CPU/motherboard combo from Minisforum. So, that's why this is going to be the heart of this little PC. As for the GPU, well there are options. I really like the 4070 super because it can still max out anything at 1440p and it supports all the old 32-bit Physx games as well. If you don't care about that, the AMD 9060 and 9070 (if they aren't overpriced) are great.
