I loved it, but it was time for an upgrade. The biggest difference here is that we can install a 10 GbE ethernet adapter, two M.2 NVMe SSDs. and plenty of ram. The DS923+ allows you to create storage pools with your M.2 NVMe... so combine that with the 10 GbE (also runs at 2.5 if that's what you have) and you can edit 4k videos right from the nas.
