In this video, I’m walking you through my Thanksgiving Math Centers for preschool and pre-k—everything I use to keep math time hands-on, playful, and actually manageable during November. If you’re trying to build number sense without turning your room into chaos, these centers are my go-to because they’re simple to prep, easy for little learners to understand, and fun enough that they’ll stay engaged while you work with small groups. I show activities like Count & Match, Spin-Count-&-Graph with colorful turkeys, a “10 Fat Turkeys” book companion using ten frames two different ways, and fine-motor-friendly options like adding clothespin feathers to a turkey. We also do graphing with a Thanksgiving dinner, count-and-trace number mats, count-and-clip cards, a roll-a-turkey game, and tracing Thanksgiving shapes. Everything is standards-based, developmentally appropriate, and ready to print, and I include assessment sheets for each center plus lesson plans with extensions so you can run these all month long—right up to Thanksgiving.
