In this video I’m sharing my favorite Thanksgiving literacy centers for preschool and pre-k—simple, hands-on activities that keep kids engaged while building real early literacy skills. I walk you through centers that focus on letter recognition (uppercase and lowercase), sound awareness, vocabulary development, and rhyming in a way that still feels playful and developmentally appropriate for little learners. You’ll see a Thanksgiving vocabulary matching game, letter sorts and matching cards, a “rhyme or not a rhyme” sort, and my ABC Gobble center game that gets kids practicing the alphabet without it feeling like drill. I also include a foldable coloring book about the First Thanksgiving and a Thanksgiving letter seek-and-find for extra practice. These activities work well for small groups, morning tubs, or independent center time, and most of what I show is included in my full Thanksgiving Lesson Plan in my TPT store and Teach Pre-K shop.
