In this Thanksgiving video, I’m sharing my go-to preschool and pre-k crafts and games that are cute, simple, and actually developmentally appropriate. Everything is designed for real classrooms—meaning low-prep, easy to manage with a group, and focused on skills kids need (fine-motor, cooperation, creativity, and practicing thankfulness). These ideas work great for your November centers, a class feast, a Thanksgiving program, or even family projects. On the craft side, I walk you through favorites like turkey hats (so fun for a feast day), a thankfulness turkey feather project that doubles as a bulletin board display, and classic paper plate turkeys and wreaths. I also include paper turkeys and “turkey shelf sitters,” plus sweet handprint cards and a handprint Mayflower that families love. For games, I share a “Then and Now” sorting activity to introduce Thanksgiving history in a kid-friendly way, and a Thanksgiving dinner bean bag toss for movement and giggles.
