“hello everyone my name is lena and welcome to my channel in this video i wanted to talk to you about esl curriculum that you can use if you want to teach independently and not work for another company who would supply you with curriculum to use in your classes if you want to just be independent and teach on your own and you just might not have the time to create your own lessons because it does take time to create on your own lessons or maybe you just don't feel confident in creating your own lessons and you rather someone else to do the work for you then i have found some websites where you can find inexpensive curriculum or free curriculum that you could use in your own online classroom but um these are inexpensive there are more pricier curriculums that you can use too but you know if you're just starting out and you just want to just see what it's like and you know don't want to invest a whole lot of money because you're just starting this whole process well then i have found some inexpensive curriculum for free and then there's i also have some leads for some other curriculum that you know might be a little bit pricier but just so you know we have a range of website that i want to tell you about is has actually a listing of many different curriculums that you can use and choose from so it's a really nice resource to find just multiple curriculums and it tells you a little bit about each one and the price and all that so i will leave a lit a link for this website down below because i think it'll be really helpful for you but i'm going to show it to you and then we will talk about it together so here it is the ultimate list online esl curriculum and you can see they they start with a table of contents of the things that they will talk about the different um curriculums and the first one is english adventure on tpt okay so this one is 39 i don't know much about it but i just i'm trying to show you what they offer and this is chit chat to fluency right um they give you some nice information about this one eighty nine dollars for one time payment doesn't seem too bad and then you have crystal clear english now i do know a little bit about this one now this one it is a monthly subscription but it doesn't seem that bad i mean nine dollars a month is is peanuts right so especially if you like it and it's very it's helping you to bring in more students so um it's a very low investment and i will i actually brought up their website here crystal clear let me just accept that so here is what it looks like and they do kind of break things up a little bit so i wanted to kind of go down here and show you what they show you on the website so step by step general curriculum overview so level one they give you the different sounds that they're going to go through in their lessons and level two they get a little bit more in depth who am i colors feelings and all of those things in level three they go they keep going so and then level four and they continue and i'm just going to keep going down kind of slowly so we can see where it ends so that's where it ends right there with um public speaking and something that sounds a little bit more for like maybe high school level students so this is crystal clear esl um i did hear some good reviews from other teachers who are using this so one to keep in mind and let's continue with some others that they actually do um offer so i'm going to x out of this there pearson oxford university press i have heard that a lot of people do like using this um curriculum when i went to it it seemed like they had a lot of books and some things i guess you could download but i was unclear on how to actually get it to be used for online teaching but i know a lot of people did talk about comment that they liked using this curriculum off to class now i have actually used this they do have a free version and they have a paid version the free version you can only use it for like two up to two students then they have the paid version for more but they give you the whole breakdown of um what you what your lesson plan is going to look like you can actually get your student tested so that you can know exactly where to place them in in you know inside of their lesson plans and um this is mostly mainly for older students so you're not gonna use it for young kids um but you can see again inexpensive eight to sixteen dollars a month that's really not bad then there's esl pals on goo is free free now i've used them too they're very good to use they're very colorful they have a nice breakdown of the lessons and they divide it up so that you can see lesson plans for real young kids all the way up to like business english so they have a large variety of lessons that you can use in your classes and then keep going there's teach to kids on tpt you can buy their curriculum on the teachers pay teachers store and then there's learnling so and native camp i don't know a whole lot about those but this one right here esl lesson library i've used some of these things before but uh it reminds me of another one that i want to show you it's called esl kids stuff now this one i did um see a little bit of information on on how another teacher was using this uh and some of the material is free so this is one that was suggested to use kids stuff again you are downloading their material and using it on your computer so you can download the material and show it display it for the kids to use but you can see they have printed material and they do have downloadable lessons too that you can display on your computer so i don't have personal experience with this one but i know that this is something that could be used online too and then we have um this one twinkle twinkle was another one that i i know that you can use you can they have free material and they also have stuff that is you can pay for so free it's good this good to have free right so twinkle is another place that you can check out um for their different lessons and uh it's not just esl stuff they have lessons for other um subjects too so that is something that you can check out for teaching in your online esl classroom or in your other classroom if you're teaching other subjects and you might want to check out stuff that they might be you might be able to use for your classroom so that's
