I used the community n8n-mcp repo because it’s more customized for Claude to understand how to connect and take actions inside my n8n instance. Once it’s configured with my n8n API URL and API key, Claude can build and validate workflows directly through MCP. For me, it’s the bridge that makes “build it for me” actually real.
