In this episode of my Google Docs for Kids series, I show students how to insert images into a Google Docs document and make them work nicely with their writing. The goal is simple: you should be able to add a picture on purpose (not by accident), place it where you want it, and keep your document looking clean and easy to read. This is a great one to play for the whole class while everyone follows along. I walk through the basic ways students can add an image and then focus on the practical editing steps that matter in real assignments—resizing, moving, and adjusting how the text fits around the image. I also share classroom-friendly expectations so students don’t end up with giant pictures covering their work or images floating in random places. After the video, I recommend letting students keep working independently so they can practice inserting and editing images in their own document until it feels automatic.
