If you’re brand new (or you’ve clicked around and felt a little lost), I keep it simple and focus on the core pieces you need first—creating your class, understanding what students will see, and knowing where to click to manage the day-to-day. I also cover the basic tasks that make Google Classroom work in a real classroom: how to organize your class space, share materials, and handle common teacher workflows like posting updates and getting students into the class. My goal is that by the end, you can open Google Classroom and feel like you have a clear starting point, not a bunch of tabs and buttons you’re afraid to touch.
