In this video, I show how to put blended learning into action by setting up a blended math workshop (also called rotations). The goal is to blend technology with traditional instructional strategies so students get the best of both worlds: targeted teacher time, meaningful practice, and the right digital tools at the right moment. I walk through what a workshop structure can look like and how to make it feel simple and doable—because blended learning works best when routines are clear and students know exactly what to do at each station. I focus on the practical setup: how to think about your rotation stations, what students are doing when they’re not with you, and how to keep everything running smoothly. I also share the key mindset that makes workshops successful—technology isn’t the “station,” it’s the support. When you plan your rotations around the math goal first, then choose tech that fits, you get a workshop model that’s organized, flexible, and easier to manage day after day.
