About This Video

I kicked this one off in Bogor and somehow ended the same day in Yogyakarta with my bike — which sounds simple until you try doing it in Indonesia. The plan was basically: get a proper ride in first (because if I’ve got a bike with me, I’m not skipping the trails), then figure out the logistics after. So it turned into this hilarious mixed-mission: about 2 hours of mountain biking, a 2 hour taxi grind, and then a 6 hour train ride across Java. This video is all about what it’s actually like traveling with a bike over here — the good bits, the annoying bits, and the “what am I doing” moments that make it an adventure. If you’re thinking about bringing a bike to Indonesia, I show the reality of stitching together transport, dealing with distance, and still trying to squeeze in riding wherever you can. And if you need a solid shop back home, I’ve linked Cyclezone because they’ve helped me out with the bike side of things when I’m planning bigger missions.
