We’re heading deep into the woods to explore a 1740s homesite, and this time we’re doing something you don’t see every day. With special access and careful planning, we’re cleaning out around the old stone foundations to uncover the history hidden beneath the surface. Using a backhoe to expose the foundation lines, we then follow up with metal detectors to search the original living areas where people walked, worked, and lived nearly 300 years ago. These foundation zones are often the most productive spots on any old site, and this one did not disappoint. If you enjoy metal detecting old homesites, colonial history, relic hunting, or seeing how history is uncovered the right way, this is a video you won’t want to miss. 👇 Let us know in the comments what YOU think was happening at this site! 👍 Like the video if you enjoy seeing history brought back to light 📌 Subscribe for more metal detecting adventures and historic site exploration
