(2)techtusiasmic #AskMark Thoughts on buying/using a trilam drysuit for all kinds of diving, like some dive agencies recommend anyway? I have a full-body Scubapro rash guard and the Apeks pocket shorts, but for anything where that's not warm enough, I'm thinking of a DUI TLS350 and skipping wetsuits altogether (obviously, with the right kind of undergarments etc). Will I regret it? (3)twoknife #AskMark Hi Mark. I want to pick up my first set of regulators soon. I plan to do a bit of warm water vacation diving and cold water diving at home. Ice diving is on my list as well, but only after buying a dry suit. I am currently considering Aqualung Legend and Mares regulators for their ACD feature. I know I am very careful with my equipment, but I can't necessarily say that about the dive crew on trips. Other options on my shortlist are Apeks regulators like the XTX 200 since they are fairly affordable and ScubaPro for the 2-year service interval. While I am not severely budget limited, I don't want to splurge more than makes sense - after all, there is still a dry suit and a bladder for doubles on the shopping list. I own a Shearwater Teric dive computer and would like to add a transmitter while I am at it. Is there a big difference between the Aqualung and the original Shearwater transmitter? There is almost a 2x price difference between them and as far as I can work out, they are both compatible and do the same thing. Should the transmitter be on a short high-pressure hose so people don't lift the equipment by holding the transmitter? What length should the hose be? (4)js99 #askmark hi mark do you prefer the xdeep zen or this apeks wing style BCD? (5)Milad Cerkic #AskMark Hi Mark. I am enjoying your channel a lot. Learned so much. Thanks a million! Q: I am looking to buy a nice dive computer/watch for my wife - both recreational divers. I have a Shearwater Teric w Transmitter. Love it. She could really use something simple to use, bright and easy to read. Preferably with AI. Any suggestions? Does it matter if we dive together and use different dive computers / different algorithms. (6)Kervyn Koa Wing What's your opinion on Refilling tanks in Water to keep them cool and minimise pressure loss once the cylinders cool down? I've heard a few people argue that doing that leads to condensation inside the cylinder and ultimately, corrosion. I don't see how keeping the cylinders in a water tank during refilling can introduce more water molecules inside the cylinders... Besides, even if there is an initial condensation, once the cylinder reaches steady state, it would make no difference right?
