Flip work, *ch 1, 1 dc in base ch where another dc already is*. Repeat step inside ** until end of row. Ch 1, slip stitch into 3rd chain of chain 4 at the beginning of the row. 3. 2nd Row: Ch 4, 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook. *Ch 1, 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook*. Repeat step inside ** until end of row. Ch 1, slip stitch into 3rd chain of the chain 4 from the beginning of the row. 4. Repeat step 3 until the bag height is slightly shorter than your desired bag height. Straps 1. Add stitch markers to the front and back of the bag to divide it into thirds 2. Start row like normal, by completing instructions for “2nd Row” above, until first stitch marker. 1 dc in stitch marker stitch. 3. Chain the total length of your straps (needs to be an odd number). For example, chain 61. 4. Remove next stitch marker stitch, and in that stitch, complete 1 dc. Ch 1, then complete 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook. 5. Chain 1, then in the strap chain, double crochet into the 2nd ch from hook. *Ch 1, 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook*. Repeat step inside ** until end of strap. 6. Slip stitch into the dc and chains at the base of the strap. 7. Slip stitch the entire base chain of the strap until the end of the strap 8. Slip stitch into the dc and chains at the base of the strap. 9. *Ch 1, 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook*. Repeat step inside ** until next stitch marker. 10. Repeat steps above for second set of straps 11. *Ch 1, 1 dc in 2nd stitch from hook*. Repeat step inside ** until end of row.
