The Meze 105 AER ended up being the sweet spot in Meze’s lineup for me—great build, a genuinely premium feel, and comfort that made long gaming sessions effortless. Sound is slightly colored with extra low end and top end, but it stays clean without the older Meze-style bass bloat. If I were buying a new Meze headphone, this would be my pick.

Pros
- +Excellent comfort for long sessions (deep velour pads, low fatigue)
- +Open and spacious presentation that works really well for gaming
- +Punchy bass without the bloat/mud of some older Meze tunings
- +Premium build and unboxing, includes a hard travel case
Cons
- -Not a neutral/reference tuning (dip in ear gain, extra bass/treble)
- -Some tracks can come off harsh/sibilant for me (noted around ~5 kHz and ~12 kHz)
