The Ascrono dock is how I physically “house” my MacBook in this setup and keep it feeling like a real workstation. I just slide the MacBook in, use the Thunderbolt 4 ports, and chain it over to my CalDigit TS4. It’s a clean way to keep the MacBook accessible while letting the docks do the heavy lifting.
