Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an imaging technique which utilises strong magnetic fields and radiofrequency pulses to produce 3-dimensional images of the human body. It is commonly used for disease detection, diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Soft tissues such as tendons, ligaments, muscles and the brain are well demonstrated on an MRI scan. However, due to its loud sounds and space constraint, MRI gets a bad rep for being terrifying and for making one "feel like I'm in a coffin!" But fret not, because our team is here to help allay your fears! Here's a specially produced video which will bring you through an in-bore experience in the MRI scanner. We will take you inside the MRI bore, the tunnel-like part of the machine where the magic happens. You will see what it's like to have an MRI, from the comfort of your own screen. #mri #loudsounds #ambientlighting SGH Website: www.sgh.com.sg
