Light Tackle Cobia Fight (unedited)

We ran into Cobia while flounder fishing offshore and got one to eat on light tackle. A cobia fight on light tackle is a lot of fun and a challenge! We were using our flounder gear with 25# test leaders! This cobia fight was a blast! This Cobia ate the flounder jig at the boat. We handed the rod off to Dewy and the fight was on! What fun it is to get someone on their first big fish and watch them fight it! This was a keeper size fish but the cobia was caught outside of the 3 mile limit and released unharmed.
