This is the Zerobyte GitHub repo I used to pull the Docker Compose setup and get everything running fast. Zerobyte has been amazing for me because it fills the gap restic has: you still get restic under the hood, but with a clean UI for jobs, retention, and restores.

- +Uses restic on the backend but adds a user-friendly web UI
- +Docker Compose makes deployment quick
- +Supports multiple sources (directory, NFS, Samba, WebDAV, rclone) and destinations (S3, R2, GCS, SFTP, local)
Cons
- -Local repository on the same host isn’t ideal for a true 3-2-1 backup setup
- -Some features (like remote mounts) may require extra container capabilities/host mounts
