I tested the KiiBOOM Moonshadow V2 as a premium 75% aluminium board with hot-swap, tri-mode connectivity, and VIA support. The ball-catch rapid disassembly is the star here—opening it up for foam and plate tuning takes seconds, and the sound comes out creamy. Just keep in mind it’s heavy and my battery drained faster than expected.
Pros
- +Full aluminium case feels sturdy and premium
- +Rapid disassembly (ball-catch) makes modding extremely easy
- +Creamy sound profile with decent stock dampening
- +Hot-swap, tri-mode wireless, and VIA support
- +Includes an extra PC plate and Mac keycaps
Cons
- -RGB dispersion can look low with stock black FR4 plate and black foams
- -No dust cover included
- -No adjustable feet
- -6000mAh battery drained within about a week in my use
- -Heavy (~1.5kg), not ideal to carry around
