The Epomaker HE30 is the pocket-size one-handed Hall Effect board I reviewed in this video. Performance is solid for the price, but the stem-lock switches are a real pain to remove, which kind of defeats the hot-swap idea.
Pros
- +8K polling/scan rate checks out
- +0.01mm rapid trigger support
- +Good internal dampening (foam-on-foam + PET layer)
- +Nice accessories including braided cable and screwdriver
Cons
- -Stem-lock switches are very difficult to pull out
- -Stock keycaps show some cost cutting
- -Software had bugs (improved, but still needs updates)
- -Typing is on the louder side
