Canon 5D Mark IV
I brought the Canon 5D Mark IV as one of my bodies for the concert, mainly to have a reliable backup and a familiar workhorse in a fast-paced event environment. That said, I did feel it couldn’t track Lewis fast enough in one of the early “walking out” moments, which cost me a cleaner frame.
Pros
- +Solid, dependable body for event work
- +Great to have as a backup at paid (or even free) gigs
Cons
- -AF tracking struggled for me in a fast moment on the wide lens
- -Photo pit movement + low angle makes it harder to nail framing quickly
