In this video I walk you through ZapDM, an Instagram DM automation tool that turns comments into instant, personalized DMs so you don’t lose leads while you’re busy. I start in the Integrations tab to connect your Instagram account (log into the right account, allow permissions, then verify the connection). After that, we jump into Automations and I build a real example: a “comment thanks + link” flow where specific keywords in comments trigger an automatic comment reply plus a DM. From there, I show the different response options—simple DM, or a full template message with a title, subtitle, image URL, and buttons. The button setup matters: website buttons send people to your link, while postback buttons send a message from the user’s end, which you can then automate further. I also set up ZapAI automation, where you either trigger the AI on certain keywords or keep it active for any message. The key takeaway: you must tell the AI about your business and goal (and aim for a Smart Analysis score over 70) so replies stay accurate. Finally, I demo it live—keyword comment triggers the DM instantly—and show where to check analytics and AI insights for improvement ideas.
