In this video I walk through DFIRST (Defirst AI) and why it’s positioned as a “visual marketing OS” instead of just another single-purpose AI tool. I show the two ways you can work: the simplified feed mode for quick outputs and the advanced whiteboard mode when you want a big-picture view of your assets and more control over the workflow. I start by uploading a packet, picking an image model (I used Nano Banana Pro from my favorites), setting resolution/aspect ratio, enhancing the prompt, and generating images you can reuse as references for the next rounds. From there, I demo the practical stuff marketers actually need: contextual actions like outpainting to expand visuals, “edit with AI” to request changes (including reformatting for different ratios), and a built-in editor that feels Canva-like for brightness/saturation tweaks, filters, text, logos, and social media crops. Then I turn an image into a video by sending it to the video tool, choosing a model (I used “clang”), setting duration, and optionally adding audio—then polishing it in the video editor. I also generate Instagram copy, export content (PDF/DOCX), and show the AI agent building a full 14-step workflow that picks models, writes prompts, and orchestrates the data flow. My main takeaway: DFIRST works best in hybrid mode—switching between agent, feed, and whiteboard depending on task complexity.
