The Kiwi Ears Aventus is my pick if you just want a more normal, studio-type sound around this price range. Even in wired mode ignoring the electronics, I still prefer its overall tuning versus the Serene.

+Sounds better overall to me than Serene at similar cost
+Can be used wired as well

Cons

-Not a planar driver, if that’s what you specifically want
-If you want heavy bass emphasis, Serene may be more your style
