Fostex TH1100RPMK2
The TH1100RPmk2 is the open-back flagship planar that I straight up preferred in this video. It has surprisingly strong sub-bass and mid-bass for an open-back, plus a very forward, impressive midrange that makes vocals pop in a really satisfying way. The treble can get a little spicy up top, but overall it’s one of the best-tuned planars I’ve heard.
