Fostex TH1000RPMK2
The TH1000RPmk2 is the closed-back flagship planar in this comparison, and it’s the darker, more relaxed tuning of the two. If you want something chiller and more tame in the treble (and you still want that premium Fostex wood craftsmanship), this is the one that makes sense. Personally though, I enjoyed the open-back more for sound.
