Snap and other tech companies have a new edict for employees: Return to the office https://www.marketwatch.com/story/snap-and-other-tech-companies-have-a-new-edict-for-employees-return-to-the-office-11670438880 So over the past year and even more so the past few months we've been seeing more and more companies calling employees back into the office, even if no fulltime back in the office a couple days per week on a hybrid model. Tech and Social Media companies seem to be the most resistant to this and the last industry to be called back but we're now seeing companies like SnapChat and other Tech and Social Media companies coming back into the office. During the Mexican Beer Cough upwards of 50% or 60% of people were working remotely, today its likely about 30% though we don't have great data on that. It's expected by the end of 2023 about 25% of employees will be remote so about 5x what it was pre beer cough but still about half of what it was at it's peak. With more layoffs coming and the job market going back to a place where employers are in a stronger bargaining position and employees are less secure in their jobs we'll likely see even more of a push to return to the office in 2023 ********************************** Business Inquiries, Sponsor a Video, or Just Wanna Say What's Up...
