This year's (2022) Black Friday has been a complete and utter failure. The streets were empty, stores were empty and mall parking lots were empty. There seemed to be a lack of excitement overall about this year's Black Friday and even retailers seem to have toned down their advertising and deals compared to years past. Despite this being glaringly obvious the media and retail organizations are telling us this has been the greatest Black Friday of all time and beat all previous records by 2%.
