In this installment from the View from the Top Series, I demonstrate some dual bell Afro-Cuban Rhythms. I play several variations of a Songo groove at a medium tempo and then at a bright tempo. The sizes are Bass Drum 20" x 15" Toms 10" x 8" and 12" x 8" Floor Tom 14" x 14" The snare drum is a 14"x 6.5" Dialtune NOB Snare drum The Cymbals are: 22" Paiste Traditional Light Ride 16" Paiste Traditional Extra Thin Crash 16" Paiste Traditional Thin Crash Masterwork 24" Swish/China with Rivets Sabian 13" HH Regular Hi Hats I am using 2 JCR Cowbells Mics are two Sennheiser MKH 800 overheads and an AKG D112 on the bass drum.
