This View from the Top installment features a tricky 3/4 Big Band Chart. It's a tune called Misbehavin' by Bob Florence and is on the album Soaring, which came out in 1983. The drummer on the album is the great Nick Ceroli. This is an advanced up-tempo 3/4 arrangement that contains complex layered rhythms and many hemiolas (a rhythmically implied time signature within another time signature). This makes this chart especially difficult to read and perform. You can see a more in-depth lesson on this chart here: https://youtu.be/daXcDVDSbmo Equipment Drums are Craviotto Private Reserve 20'x15", 10 x 8, 12x 8, 14x14 floor tom, 14x 6.5 Snare Drum Cymbals are: 21" 1950's K ride 18" 1950's K crash/ride with rivets Sabian Vault 16" Crash Masterwork 24" swish with rivets Sabian 13" HH Regular Hi Hats Microphones are Neumann U89's
