I Played EVERY Pokémon Game on Different Retro Handhelds (30th Anniversary)

👉Pokémon turns 30 this year, so I played through the different generations of games, from Red and Blue all the way through Ultra Sun and Moon, all on different retro handhelds to find the best way to experience each era in 2026. I tested the TrimUI Brick (~$50), Anbernic RG35XX SP (~$60), Anbernic RGDS ($90), Retroid Pocket 5 ($199), and the AYN Thor ($300) across nine generations of games. No benchmarks, no spec sheets, just gameplay and honest opinions on what feels right for each generation.
