Here's a simple breakdown of the materials I used for this painting: 1️⃣ **Paper:** * **Baohong Watercolor Paper** * **300gsm (140lb), Cold-Pressed** * **Academy Grade, 100% Cotton** * **Size: 16K (approx. 19 x 27 cm / 7.5 x 10.6 inches)** 2️⃣ **Paints (Winsor & Newton Cotman):** * **Sky Blue:** Mainly **Verditer Blue**. If you don't have Verditer Blue, you can use **Sky Blue** instead. *Before adding the blue*, I put down a **warm grey-orange wash** (or any warm base color). * **Dark Clouds:** Mixed with **Cobalt Blue, Sky Blue, and Cadmium Red Pale**. You can also add a little **Purple**. * **Distant Mountains:** Used **Cobalt Blue, Payne's Grey, and a little white gouache**. * **Foreground Desert:** Used a little **Green + Burnt Sienna + Orange + white gouache**. * **Plants (Greenery):** Used **Greens mixed with Cobalt Blue and Oranges**. 3️⃣ **Brushes:** * Mainly used a **calligraphy brush**.
