Here's a detailed breakdown of the materials and colors I used: 1. **Paper:** I used **Baohong Academy Grade 100% Cotton Watercolor Paper**. It's **Cold-Pressed**, **300gsm (140lb)**, and the size is **16 Kai (approximately 19 x 27 cm or 7.5 x 10.6 inches)**. 2. **Paints (Winsor & Newton Cotman):** * **Bright Sunset Clouds (Yellows/Oranges):** I used various yellows and oranges from my palette. * **Blue Sky Areas:** The main blue is **Verditer Blue**. * **Darker Blue Areas (e.g., stormier parts):** I mixed **Verditer Blue + Cobalt Blue + Cadmium Red Pale**. * **Dark Clouds:** These were created using oranges combined with **Cobalt Blue + Cadmium Red** hues. * **Distant Mountains:** I used greens mixed with **Cobalt Blue + Oranges + Purples**. * **Foreground Grass:** The base greens were mixed with oranges and just **a touch of Cobalt Blue**. * **Darker Greens (in grass/shadow):** I deepened these by adding **Purple** to the mix. 3. **Brushes:** The primary brush I used for most of this painting was a **calligraphy brush (Sumi-e / Chinese brush style)**.
