🕺 Learning Salsa, One Step at a Time 😅 I’ve always been fascinated by salsa dancers … the way they know their bodies, how movement looks beautiful, elegant, and sexy all at once. That connection between music and motion has always pulled me in… so a few months ago, I finally decided to step in and level up 💃🔥 1️⃣ I’m a beginner. Still learning. Still counting. Still getting lost sometimes 😅 2️⃣ Salsa isn’t easy. There are a lot of technical details, timing, and counting… and yes, counting in my head while moving is probably my least favorite part 🙃 I’m naturally more of a creative mover than a “follow-the-structure” kind of learner … I’ve always seen things from a different angle rather than the traditional classroom way. 3️⃣ Laura and I have been taking one class per week for the past few months. No extra practice outside the class … just that one focused hour. And honestly? Considering that… it’s not bad at all 👀✨😅 4️⃣ The goal isn’t perfection … it’s embodiment. I know that to really grow, I’ll need to dedicate more time, move more, repeat more, and let the steps slowly become natural, not forced. That moment when the body stops thinking and just moves … that’s what I’m chasing. ✨ One thing about me: Any skill connected to movement, art, rhythm, or self-expression is something I’ll always want to learn. Beginner or not. Awkward or not. Growth is part of the fun. Still fascinated. Still learning. Still dancing 🕺🔥 Thank you to our sales instructor, Alex.
