Sauce for the Salmon While Cooking: Mix together: β’ Juice of 1 lemon β’ Juice of 2 oranges β’ A bit of salt β’ Black pepper β’ Cumin β’ 1 spoon of ketchup β’ 2 garlic cloves, sliced very thin β’ Olive oil on top Mix everything together and pour it over the salmon before cooking. βββββββββββββββ π₯£ 2. Sauce for Serving the Salmon: This is the creamy sauce that goes on top of the salmon when you are eating it. Mix together: β’ Equal amount of full-fat yogurt or Greek yogurt β’ Equal amount of tahini β’ 3 spoons of each is usually enough β’ Juice of half a lemon β’ Salt β’ Black pepper β’ Cumin β’ 1 garlic clove, optional Before serving, add: β’ A little olive oil on top β’ A little chopped parsley βββββββββββββββ π₯ 3. Mashed Potato Ingredients For the mashed potato, you need: β’ White pepper β’ Salt β’ Nutmeg β’ 200g butter β’ 1 cup of milk . 1.5 kg of Mashed Potato You can use regular milk, almond milk, or a mix of both. βββββββββββββββ π₯ 4. Important Salmon Tips These points make a big difference: β’ Use mango slices and orange slices with the salmon: They add amazing flavor and help keep the salmon juicy β’ Do not use lemon slices because lemon can make the salmon dry β’ Cut the salmon before cooking β’ Place small slices of butter inside the cuts β’ Add mango slices inside the cuts as well β’ Place the whole salmon on top of orange slices This helps the salmon absorb flavor and stay soft while cooking. βββββββββββββββ π₯ 6. Oven Temperature & Cooking Time: Bake the salmon at: β’ 180Β°C β’ Around 350Β°F Cooking time: β’ Around 1 hour Oven position: β’ Keep the salmon in the middle of the oven or slightly closer to the bottom β’ Keep the top heat off during the main cooking time β’ After 1 hour, turn the top heat on for only 5β10 minutes to finish the top Always keep an eye on the salmon. If you feel it is starting to dry out, add a tiny bit of orange juice with a spoon. βββββββββββββββ β¨ Final Tip The secret is not to rush it and not to dry the salmon.
