This is part 1 of a multi part series of the repair process of my 89 Larson boat. ❗️ ❗️ ❗️ Disclaimer ❗️❗️❗️ This is not the proper way to fix the floor of any boat, I am aware of that and you should be to if you are considering using this method of repair. Materials used in this video: 1/2 inch 4x8 sheet of ply wood (treated- not marine grade) Lots of razor blades for carpet removal and template making Multiple pieces of cardboard for template (the larger the better to mimic a 4x8 ply wood) Common hand tools Skill saws etc. ❗️❗️❗️ Link Tree for all videos in this series ❗️❗️❗️ Rotten Boat Floor Repair (PART 1)- This Video Total boat penetrating epoxy- https://youtu.be/FsFVL-d-1TI Boat Floor Repair (part2)- not yet available Replacing a boat floor (part 3) - https://youtu.be/FsFVL-d-1TI Boat floor replacement (part 4)- https://youtu.be/-crKGXH9iNI 0:00 Intro 0:53 Welcome Back 3:13 Making A Template and Carpet Removal 5:08 The Damage Is Done 6:46 Making The New Floor 8:11 New Floor Fitment 9:35 See You In Part 2!
