Engagement Ring Updates! #gettingbackontrack #routine #routinevlog #cleaning #organization #baking #planning ZV1 camera - https://geni.us/SonyZV1vlogcamera Kitchenaid Mixer - https://geni.us/kitchenaidextrapack 🍞 Homemade Bread - *I only used just over 3 cups* 1⅓ cups warm water (110°F/45°C) 1/3 cup sugar (half of original 2/3 cup) 1 tbsp active dry yeast 2 tbsp melted butter ~¾ tsp salt 4 cups all-purpose or bread flour Instructions: 1. Activate the Yeast In a large bowl or stand mixer, stir 1/3 cup sugar into 1⅓ cups warm water. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast on top. Lightly stir and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. 2. Make the Dough Stir in 2 tablespoons melted butter and ~¾ teaspoon salt. Gradually add the 4 cups of flour, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed or by hand until dough comes together. Knead for 6–8 minutes, until the dough is soft and elastic. Add small amounts of flour as needed if the dough is sticky. 3. First Rise Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled. 4. Shape the Dough Punch down the dough, then shape into a loaf or rolls. Place in a greased loaf pan or on a baking tray. 5. Second Rise Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes, until puffy and nearly doubled. 6. Bake Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. (Rolls may take 18–22 minutes.) 7.
