Chain 1 and start making 4 half double crochets (hdc). 8. Slip stitch (slst) to join, then chain 1. 9. Repeat: 4 hdc, 1 slst + 1 ch (three times total). 10. Chain 5. 11. Slip stitch + 1 chain. 12. Make a magic ring. 13. In the ring: *3ch, 4 loops, 4ch, 1slst* — repeat 5 times to form a flower shape. 14. Chain 3, then make 3 double crochets (dc) to complete the circle. 15. Slip stitch + 1 chain. 16. Chain 2, make 2 loops in the first chain. 17. Chain 2 again. 18. Slip stitch + 1 chain. 19. Chain 7, then work: sc + hdc + dc + dc + hdc + sc. 20.
