Did you know that there is an incredibly beautiful North American native Hydrangea called the Hydrangea arborescens, also knows as the Smooth or Tree Hydrangea? This lovely shrub is native to the eastern area of North America. Able to be grown from zones 3 to 9, this showy flowering shrub produces Hydrangea blooms like you've always loved, but on a native plant! There are a number of different variety and cultivars out there, and in this video I am showcasing 'Invincibelle Ruby', which is a pink flowered variety.
